Dual Credit

Tori, our Northwest Vista liaison will be on campus on February 14th at 3:00pm in the high school to meet with students and parents who want to learn more about dual credit.  Current students at NWV do not need to attend.  Students can bring their lap tops and Northwest Vista will help them apply so that they meet the Feb 18 th deadline. Dual Credit 2019-2020

The Dual Credit application is now open for new students for Fall 2019 . The Dual Credit Program allows eligible high school students to earn college credit while they complete their high school requirements. All courses require the approval of the high school liaison. Dual Credit courses are offered at the college campus or online with Northwest Vista College. Who may participate in the Dual Credit Program? 9th - 12th grade Benefits of Dual Credit Increases the likelihood that a student will complete high school, enroll in and continue with their college education Decreases the cost of tuition and fees for students in completing their academic degrees New graduates enter the workforce at an accelerated rate and begin to earn wages, benefiting themselves and making positive contributions to our economy Students can complete up to 14 college courses before graduating from high school Increases student’s self-confidence Access

You can find the answers at CafĂ©’ College on Saturday, January 26 from 3 – 4 pm for their free Essay Writing for College and Scholarships Application Workshop.
